Calling It Like It Is: A Sex Crime

I do not think I have ever heard a teacher-student sex scandal be labeled a sex crime especially when the perpetrator is a woman. I hope this correct labeling becomes a national and global trend because women need to stop getting off or receiving a simple slap on the wrist for raping young men and boys. It's not cool, even for young boys who would like to brag about sowing oats with an older woman.
The 13-year-old Mexican illegal immigrant who the Nebraska teacher took advantage of may see a little light at this end of this horrible nightmare if he is granted a new visa specifically designed for illegal immigrant children who have been sexually abused.
The visa helps illegal immigrants who are victims of sex crimes. If the boy, who spent most of his life in Lexington, Nebraska, qualifies, he could stay legally in the United States for four years and eventually apply for permanent residency.
It also would extend temporary residency to his parents and his unmarried siblings under 18, if they applied for it.
Let's hope he isn't failed by the system twice.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with these people. I've taught middle school kids and I had NO, NONE, NADA ANYTHING remotely relationship feeling towards any of my students, male, female, whatever. And yes students may like you, but dayum. They're your students and you suppose to keep them safe. WHY? Because eventually they do trust you, sometimes more than their parents and ultimately believe that YOU have THEIR best interest at heart.
Ummm where I'm from we call folks like that "child predators" or I think the correct term is pedophile.
I deeply despise folks who take children for granted just because they can. Especially when you have a child's trust. Some folks really shouldn't be around children or have any for that matter. -
